Steelmaking is a core feature in Pactoria that allows players to craft siege weapons and utility items.

Steelmaking process

  1. Smelt coal using lava in a blast furnace to obtain coal coke
  2. Mix (Drop) 4 iron ingots and 4 pieces of coal coke in a lava cauldron to obtain a hot steel ingot
    1. Make sure to drink a fire resistance potion as holding this item in your hand will burn you
  3. Shift and right-click on an anvil with the hot steel ingot in your hand and hammer down five items to get hot steel
  4. Drop the steel ingot on a water cauldron to cool it down and get a steel ingot
