Pactoria's religion system is one of the server's core features. It allows players to create their own religions and gain faith points as they complete daily quests and do sacrifices.

Starting a religion

To create your own religion, type /religion create <religion_name> in chat. You can invite other members typing /religion invite <username>, or kick them (/religion kick <username>).

Ranks

There are five different ranks in a religion, in descending order:

  • High Priest - Those who own the religion in-game.
  • Priest - TBA
  • Acolyte - TBA
  • Devotee - TBA
  • Initiate - Those who joined the religion and were not promoted.

Events

Events are a core aspect in the religion system. There are three event tiers, depending on the attendee count:

  • Tier 1: Minor Gathering (1-4 players)
  • Tier 2: Sacred Assembly (5-9 players)
  • Tier 3: Grand Conclave (10-∞ players)

To start a event, type /religion event start. For one of your members to join your event, they must type /religion event join. To end your event, you must type /religion event end.

Once your event ends, it will be sent to staff for evaluation and you may get reward points, which can be seen through /religion reward. You can either spend your reward points in a 1.5x Crop XP multiplier for thirty days, or you can get a Divine Intervention token.

Offerings

Offerings are a core aspect in the religion system, and is the main way of getting faith points. Offerings may consist of either items (daily quests) or sacrifices (players), the latter giving you the most faith points. To make an offering or a sacrifice, the player will need to make an altar. Once you have these items, drop them into an active altar cauldron and right-click the cauldron to complete the offering. You can also browse the remaining daily offerings by shift-right clicking the cauldron.

Sacrifices

Sacrifices work like offerings but said offering is a player. To do this, the sacrificed player must put position themselves inside the cauldron and another player must right-click the cauldron.
